VOCE: THE NEXT LEAP IN VOTING & OUTREACH TECHNOLOGY
HOW VOCE CAN SUPER-CHARGE YOUR RACE
UNPARALLELED DATA GATHERING TOOLS AND INSIGHTS
VOCE not only allows campaigns to create survey questions relevant to their race, it also allows them to use Generic Questions set by the DNC or state party. This will let campaigns track voter sentiment across election cycles — a tool Democrats currently lack. And with the ability to instantly request voter data and to download it all in the format of their choice, campaign staff will never have to waste time waiting for their data requests to be approved.
A STREAMLINED AND INTUITIVE USER INTERFACE
Unlike other campaign software, VOCE was designed from the ground up for ease of use. Upon logging in, every user is greeted with a customized workflow that walks them through what they need to do, step by step. From assigning work packages or turfs to creating complex lists, every process in VOCE is designed to take minutes, not hours. That way campaigns can focus on what they do best: winning races.
POWERFUL CANVASSING AND PHONE BANKING TOOLS
VOCE gives staff and volunteers the tools to hit the ground running. Provided that staff and volunteers have downloaded the VOCE app, they can start canvassing or phone banking at a time that works for them. There’s no need for them to meet up at campaign headquarters beforehand. And when they’re done, all they have to do is close the VOCE app. Campaign staff will then approve the surveys through VOCE’s desktop platform.
A LICENSING FEE THAT SCALES TO THE SIZE OF YOUR CAMPAIGN
DemSoft is first and foremost a not profit seeking company. As such, we understand that not every campaign has access to the same level of resources or finances, which is why we have decided to offer VOCE at a price commensurate with each campaign’s size. So whether it’s the largest of statewide races or the smallest of local elections, any Democratic campaign can license VOCE at an affordable rate that works for them.

POWERFUL FEATURES DESIGNED TO MAKE CAMPAIGNS WIN
-
With VOCE, the DNC and state parties can create Generic Questions that work across campaigns and election cycles, providing Democrats with a powerful tool to track changing voter sentiment over time.
-
VOCE provides campaigns with the tools to create their own custom survey questions and response bundles. That way, your campaign can ask the questions that matter most to your voters.
-
VOCE provides you with the tools to manage staff and volunteers in-app. You can create accounts, assign and re-assign campaign roles, assign work packages and approve surveys — all with the click of a button.
-
VOCE gives campaigns the ability to create dynamic scripts that will help your staff and volunteers connect with voters. From allowing you to customize the formatting of your scripts to giving the option of using pre-populated fields, scripts in VOCE are flexible and easy to use.
-
VOCE provides campaigns with powerful scheduling tools, allowing them to plan canvassing activities on a weekly basis. Projects run from Monday to Sunday. You can set up projects weeks in advance. If you don’t have time to finish future projects, you can always save them as drafts. Email alerts will remind you to publish them later.
-
Unlike older software, VOCE allows campaigns to assign workpackages to canvassers right in-platform, saving staff the hassle of manually importing various lists. They can start canvassing immediately with the literature in hand. There’s no need to meet up with the campaign beforehand. As long as they’ve got the VOCE app on their phone, canvassers can start knocking on doors at a time that works for them.
-
Generating Workpackages (known as Turfs in other software) is a breeze in VOCE. The software will do it automatically, taking housing density and the canvassers’ shift lengths into consideration. But if you’d like to create workpackages manually, you can draw them on the map directly.
-
In VOCE we see interactions with voters as a “journey” up to election day, not as individual episodes. In VOCE the cadence for voter contact can be defined based on a voter’s response to the previous contact. For example, if a strong Democrat is going to vote on election day, they can be marked for a few follow-up visits and then for the GOTV closer to election day – so the voter is not harassed by too frequent door knocks. On the other hand, if the voter has already voted, they can be excluded from future canvassing.
